Kind of like, don't be just a chimp, run with the gorillas... When you have confidence in yourself, you accomplish things. I don't believe in the "Don't let anyone get you down" rhetoric but the older I get, the more I live by it. I don't want to be a chickenhawk, I want to be an eagle. I don't want to be a chicken head nor do I want to walk with chicken legs. Decide your own future before someone decides it for you.

My interests:- Art and Artists- This ranges from photography (Ansel Adams) to pointalism (Claude Monet)
- Books/Magazines - I like books that are thought provoking and magazines that are up with the times. I am currently reading: Women Who Run With the Wolves, Conversations with God and The Tenth Insight
- Feminism/Women's Issues
- History - I plan on attaining a PhD in American History
- Music: Blues - who can not like BB King and Louis Armstrong
- Music: Hip-Hop - Among my favorites are Method Man, Old Dirty Bastard (aka Baby Jesus), Sugar Hill Gang, Beasties and Red Man (anyone hear Red Man's cut of Beasties on his new album? It's tighter than an Virginia Virgin)
- Music: Jazz - John Coltraine, Dizzy Gillespie, Billy Holiday and Charles Brown
- Music: R and B, Soul - I really like the older stuff. That includes but is not limited to Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Curtis Mayfield and James Brown.
- Music: Rock and Pop - Who doesn't like some of the pop stuff? I love the City of Angels soundtrack!
- News/Current Events - Always good to know what is going on around you. I am of the "What you don't know will hurt you" mentality
- Paranormal - It is not really paranormal if you have had encounters with really weird situations. Twilight Zone-ish but not. Maybe it is a result of too much drugs, maybe not. You be the critic
- Philosophy - I am not one of those Ivory Tower junkies. I believe in Everyday Applications of Philosophy
- Photography - Like I said, Ansel Adams is among my favorites
- Politics
- Pubs and Clubs - In other words, I get my party on!!
- Religion - BIBLE - Book of Instructions Before Leaving Earth. That is my take on it. I don't believe in conventional religion, or organized religions, if you will. I believe that makes me agnostic.
